I bought these belts to repair a Hoover s1137 brush vac my mother gave me before I went to college in 2001. She said she got it as a door prize at an event and it had been in my parents closet for a long time before I left, and the model is not listed on the Hoover website, so this is an older or obsolete model, but it still does a great job of removing visible dirt and dust from the carpet of my current studio apartment, although it is not HEPA filtered and I sneeze a few times every time I vacuum. I'm young, agile, don't have a problem crawling around on the floor, want to put my face near the floor to see whether the vacuum is working, and don't really want a big full sized model.

This vacuum rocks-- strongest hand vac that I've ever used even if it is an older vacuum. When the belt split & came off recently, I checked both on Amazon and on Hoover's website directly. Amazon not only had a better price but also the free shipping so long as my entire order was over $25. Would definitely order through here again if needed to!
