We purchased these bags for the first time in May 2001. I installed a bag and thought it worked OK. (I did not throw the former bags, not Hoover bags, out.) The next time the bag needed changing the lady who cleans the house (unbeknown to us) installed the bag we had been using previously. My wife who is very sensitive to house dust recognized the difference. After a very short time my wife said she could smell the dust when the vacuum cleaner was in use. I changed the bag in our vacuum back to a Hoover bag and the probem was cured. While not very scientific, it convinced us. I have thrown the other bags away.
Additional Comment:
Because of the small particles that are trapped in the bag, I take the vacuum outside to remove the filled bag. This prevents these particles from escaping back into the air in the house.

Product description was for genuine Hoover Bags. I received a no name brand. The first two bags split open when the vac was first turned on.
This is a bait and switch vendor.

All was well with this product, I just wish that they came in a larger quanity; like 25 in a case so the price could be less.

This order was fulfilled by B&M Housewares and was not genuine Hoover bags. The bags I received were equivalent to those available at the 99 cent store. The only good and right thing was the vendor promptly refunded my full purchase price.

Seller rushed 1/2 the order to get me something right away and followed up with the second 1/2 shortly there after. Nice to see there is still a willingness to satisfy the customer out there - Thanks

These bags were offered at what seemed to me a very good price, so I worried that they might not be genuine. But the bags work fine and I have no regrets.

Three bags for $3.99 and works as they should. Much cheaper than buying at Sears!

What can I say? They are vacuum bags. They work. Cheaper than buying from the store (if you can even find them).

Its just a vacume cleaner bag and it does what its supposed to do. It arrived promptly.
