The Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub WidePath Hard Floor Cleaner is the "All in One" cleaner that dry vacuums, Washes, and Dries by picking up the water or solution on your hard surface floors. The "All in One " EZ Select Dial allows you to choose a mode at the flick of your wrist. The finger tip trigger lets you control where , when and how much cleaning solution you apply. The dual tanks keeps the clean solution from the dirty solution. This way, you never put down dirty water back on your clean floors. The interchangeable SpinScrub brushes let you use the appropriate brushes for your regular hard surfaces and a stiffer brush to use on your floors with grout. The 15" removable nozzle lets you finish the job quickly and clean up easily. The folding handle allows you store your FloorMate for efficiently. It comes with an 8oz bottle of Floor to Floor and Grout cleaner.

I recently purchased this for cleaning the tile and grout lines in my house. Roughly 80 percent of my house is tile, and it was pretty dirty. This machine did an excellent job cleaning the tile surface but it could not deep clean the grout as I was hoping. If you have extrememly dirty grout you will still need to scrub it by hand. Once you performed the initial cleaning though, this machine will maintain the tile and grout great. I am so glad I bought this. I had a party last night, and this machine made cleaning up dirt and spilled alcohol easy and fast.

I just bought the WidePath SpinScrub yesterday, and I love it so far! It is relatively light-weight, easy to use, and does a great job cleaning. The dry vacuum setting does as good a job at picking up stuff as my regular vacuum does. Although it is a bit difficult to push when on the wet setting, as long as you don't rush the job and take your time, it gets the job done. You don't even need to use the dry option because it sucks most of the water up. My ceramic tile floors are dry after about 5 minutes.
One important note...When I first assembled the machine yesterday and used it, after a few minutes it was shutting itself off like a previous reviewer mentioned. It kept turning itself on and off and I was so frustrated! I put it away and took a fresh look at it this morning. What I discovered is that the handle was not fully locked into place. (Even though I swear it locked into place when I first assembled it!) Once the handle was locked into place (again), it worked perfectly!

THIS IS A NEEDED PRODUCT.. WORKS GREAT, BUT PLASTIC PARTS BREAK IN ABOUT SIX MONTHS. (UNDERSIDE CASING HOLDING WHEELS.) I KNOW THIS WELL, AS I HAVE TO BUY ONE EVERY SIX MONTHS.. MOTOR HOLDS UP, AS DO OTHER PARTS, BUT UNDERSIDE IS ALL PLASTIC... I HAVE NO OPTIONS. THIS IS "THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN".. I HAVE TRIED OTHER BRANDS BUT THEY AREN'T EVEN ON THE MARKET ANYMORE. THEIR'S FELL APART EVEN FASTER. FOR THE MONEY, THIS IS GREAT FOR WHAT YOU GET. JUST REMEMBER, IF YOU USE IT EVERYDAY LIKE I DO, YOU WILL NEED ANOTHER ONE DOWN THE ROAD. WISH HOOVER WOULD SPEND MORE TIME MAKING BETTER QUALITY PARTS..
BUT.. LIKE I SAID, I NEED THIS MACHINE . WOULDN'T GO BACK TO A MOP.. I WILL KEEP BUYING IT...
