These Hoover "I" type bags are used in the canister vac that comes with the Hoover Platinum upright vacuum cleaner. The upright cleaner takes type "Q" bags and together the two sizes of bags have made me smarter. I keep both on an upper shelf so that I now have a higher I Q.

Since these bags trap 99.9% of dust and pollens, the little Hoover canister becomes a great dusting tool that keeps all of the dust contained. With the canister and its extender you can dust woodwork and those corners that notoriously breed cobwebs; while doing so you don't have to worry about the dust going back into the indoor enviroment.

We use our canister with the Hoover I type bags every day to clean up after our two parakeets and to dust. I even use it to clean the filter of our bagless Electrolux Ergorapido when I don't feel like doing it outside.

These high quality bags have a durable cloth like feel and as expected are made in China. Hoover recommends using genuine Hoover bags in the Platinum vacuums, probably a good piece of advice.

The Amazon product page suggests that these bags make great gifts. I'd certainly appreciate a box of these bags, but most people would probably prefer something else.

Even with daily use for over a month now, my original bag still has plenty of dust trapping capabilities. Whenever I install a new bag, I like writing the date on it in permanent marker just to keep track of how long the bag lasts.

These are good bags for a good little vacuum cleaner.

The bags are well made. They are thick and this holds in the fine particles of dust and dander and whatever else that's lurking in our carpet. I couldn't find these bags anywhere in Maui. Thank you AMAZON!!Had to stop vacuuming until these arrived. These are much easier to dispose of than the bagless cannister vacuums (I've had three of those!)I got tired of having the dust fly up into my face and into the air--no matter how careful I was. Also, cleaning the filters were difficult. They were gross!! Get a bagged vacuum. All your hard work will stay in the bag and not get released back into the air!

Love my new Hoover platinum with canister. It makes my 10 year old forest green carpet look like new....and being a dark color, you know I have to vacuum often. Have a poodle, standard, and two cats as well.

The vac has been used almost daily since Oct. and there's still no need to change the bag. it's sooo light weight...but is powerful!!!!!

It's a wonderful vacuum...worth theprice, and the canister is equally useful...tho, it could have more suction.

I thought such a tiny bag would fill up fast and have to be replaced often. Instead, I have been using mine for over six months and it is still going strong and filtering the air beautifully - just like the first day I had it. I use my canister to supplement the Hoover Platinum Lightweight Bagged Upright (LBU), to dust furniture, ceiling vents, floor baseboards, drapes, under deep furniture, and also to vacuum out the underside of the LBU and the interior when I change the bag. Available on 4 for 3 promotion when I got it. Totally worth it!

The price for these bags is outstanding. Very happy. Did take a little long to get (almost two weeks), but wasn't necessarily in a hurry anyway.

Hoover UH30010COM Platinum Lightweight Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Canister

I purchased this vacuum cleaner based on a review in Consumer Reports. What a pleasant surprise! It cleaned as the report said but the great part is that this vacuum is so easy to use and maneuver.

It comes with a lightweight canister that has all the tools you will need, except a stairs brush. I had one from a old Hoover that works great with a revolving brush. You can buy one from Hoover.

I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner with the portable canister vacuum.

These are the HEPA vacuum bags that Hoover manufactured for their vacuum cleaner. That is, they meet Hoover's performance requirements: you can install and remove them as specified, and they work perfectly.

Bags are not all that great at all, dust blows right through them!! Hoover must be outsourcing them now to be made in China instead of USA!! Will be looking for cheaper bags elsewhere on the Internet!! Top of the line vacuum and Hoover makes substandard bags to save a buck...nice going Hoover...thanks for playing!!

I'm not really sure you could have a bad review on these. They do a great job of containing the dirt and are fairly easy to replace. Hoover is highly recommended

Though pricey the bags are very sturdy and hold a lot of dog hair! I didn't give it five stars because I am still using the bag that came with the sweeper and I have only used the sweeper a few times. I am satisfied with this product and recommend it.
