I purchased this little gem to clean my dorm room's carpet and tile floor and I am amazed at it's cleaning ability! I must admit I was slighly skeptical as the contraption only weighs 5 lbs., but it effectively picks up everything from pebbles, paper, dirt and dust bunnies--on both carpet and uncovered floors. Since it is bagless you don;t have to worry about finding the right bag size (always a hassle). It's only downfall is that human hair and long strings wrap around the brush bar (as with most vaccuums). In order to remove it, you must either pull it off or get out a pair of scissors and start snipping. However, this is a very minor inconvince, considering it's cleaning power and size. It is the perfect addition for any college dorm or other small space!

I bought this to use for sweeping up bird seed shells (practically every day) after the Shark model I tried didn't work very well. Not only can I use this one standing up, I can leave it plugged in permanently and stashed behind a piece of furniture, which makes its use SOOOOO convenient. In addition to the bird cleanup on carpet, I use this for all my hard floors as it works better than my regular vacuum. It's also good for quick sweeps on all the heavy traffic areas carpeted or otherwise. It has a beater brush as well as normal suction which is necessary for both carpet and hard floor use. A real find! Strongly recommended.

At first when I received this Hoover in the mail I thought I had ordered a toy for my daughter. It is incredible light yet powerfully strong. I opened the package right away and assembled it without a problem. Very easy to assemble. I ordered this vacuum to specifically clean two new area rugs I recently purchased. It worked fantastic with the area rugs not to mention the wall to wall carpeting in my bedroom. The fact that it does not need a bag is so conveniant. I hate changing bags on vacuums. This is a great machine at a wonderful price. it is incredibly strong yet light enough for my 6 year old daughter to help with the cleaning as well. It is also fantastic because I can go from cleaning the area rugh to cleaning the hard wood floor with the flip of a switch. I would highly recommend this vacuum to everyone.

reviews. My wife is delighted with light weight, ease of use &
the cleaning results. To highlight those features our 3yr old
grandson used it repeatedly on Christmas day to help clean up
our large carpeted family room of gift wrappings and dog hair.
He loved it and did a good job cleaning while being entertained.
It will get more use than our larger Electrolux. Since we have a large long ranch; we may get a second one for the other end of
the home. My wife's addition to the review: IT'S A WONDERFUL TIME

I have two dogs that shed like crazy--and this lighweight cleaner is perfect for daily cleaning. The brush makes it perfect to give a quick sweep to the carpeted stairs, though for more thorough carpet sweep I use a bigger machine. However, remember: a vacuum is no good unless you actually use it, and who wants to use a big machine all the time? This is easy to empty, too.

Just what I needed for quick touch ups! I was amazed, after running it over my kitchen floor and living room carpet, how much stuff that it picks up! Great for going behind kids that track stuff off of their shoes across your clean floor!

For the weekly quick floor cleaning, this is a great machine. Suction of fine dust and particles is excellent. Snap to use. Filter is superior hepa, made of durable vinyl, made to last. Just wash after every use.

Drawbacks: Very noisy and loud; roller belt is only 1/4" wide and may need replacing in two years (spray with silicon to prolong life). All in all, a great machine for the price. Meant primarily for quick floor clean ups (hard and rugs). For hardcore cleaning, I use my big vaccuum with hose and attachments.

I like the Hoover brush-vac because it picks up so well. It picks up on bare floors as well as carpeted floors.I also have the Singer 3 in one "stick-vac" but the Hoover is superior on carpeting because it has the revoling brush to help get every particle from the rug.My son likes to borrow it to clean up after his 3 and 6 year olds. I would recommend this to anyone.

I read all of the reviews for this before buying it and thought I'd give it a try -- not a big risk for [money]! I love it! I did not have very high expectations of the carpet cleaning ability but it does amazingly well. On bare floors it generally does great, thought at times bigger particles don't get picked up. But, this is so lightweight that I just pick it up and put it down on the thing I want to pick up. I have a bad back so lugging my big vacuum around for small everyday jobs like cat litter and hair wasn't happening. This really fit the bill!
