I have been using these Hoover vacuum bags for as long as I've had my Hoover canister type vacuum and have been wonderfully pleased with them. I'm one of those people allergic to practically everything so the filtration system built into these bags is exactly what I need.

My reason for writing a review is so I can give a little more information about this product. Information which was absent from the description on the product page.

First - this bag comes in the standard blue package with the large yellow "S" on the front, while also stating it is the "allergen" type for canister cleaners. If that's the specific picture you are looking for, this is the correct bag. Unfortunately, the picture on the product page did not indicate this so I just took a chance and jumped into the pool. Fortunately, it was what I wanted.

Second - there are 3 bags in each package. I looked everywhere on the product page and it NEVER told me how many bags I would be getting. This is the standard number contained in this package, but it would have really been nice to have been told that along with the product description.

So, I got exactly the vacuum cleaner bag I was looking for, with the exact quantity of bags I had hoped for. It would have been nice to get that information from the supplier!

I HAVE SEVERAL ALLERGIES WHICH INCLUDE HOUSE DUST, DUST MITES, AND CAT DANDER. I HAVE TRIED OTHER NAME BRAND VACUUMS WITH THEIR ALLERGEN BAGS AND/OR FILTERS. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO MY OWN VACUUMING OR EVEN BE IN THE SAME ROOM WHILE SOMEONE ELSE WAS VACUUMING, WITHOUT HAVING AN ALLERGY ATTACK, UNTIL I TRIED USING HOOVER TYPE S ALLERGEN VACUUM BAGS. THEY WORK GREAT! EVEN MY DAUGHTER, WITH ALL HER ALLERGIES, WILL ASK IF SHE CAN DO THE VACUUMING FOR ME.

Happy with purchase. These bags had the best price I found on the web. Will buy again in the future.

The bags are not the same bags as the original bags that came with the vacuum. They seem of lesser quality.

This is a great product for anyone with allergies, pets or who lives in a dusty area.

Took me a long time to find a canister vac. Finally through Amazon. After using my Hoover, the carpet feels almost like new, fluffy and clean. Only I do have a Sheltie with long hair. I do clean the power head before every use, as it does fill up with hair. I think that would happen with any vac with a power head. Other that that it works good. Only have had it for 1 1/2 months. Had a small Hoover that was great! and it lasted at least 20 years, wheels fell off, but still the best vac that I ever had. I will always use a Hoover. Through Amazon, it was a great price, and had it within a week.

Product works fine since it is a necessary replacement for the vacuum.

It just works as advertised. And that sums it up.

This was a waste of my money. Very disappointed. This product is not the real thing. It didn't fit my vacuum cleaner. It was an immitation, but a very cheap one, in which the cardboard square that is supposed to attach to the vacuum cleaner was smaller and would not secure in place, therefore not fit for its purpose.

I have been using these type of bags for my particular model Hoover cannister vacuum and have had no problems.
