I guess I was a little hesitant on reviewing about vacuum bags, but these are pretty good.

Though I know it may not be necessary for those without a Hoover Upright vacuum cleaner, and that they must be bought for a Hoover user, these are still good bags. If you are thinking of buying a vacuum cleaner, you should consider not only the power and quality of its cleaning power, but how easy it is to clean it's container or change its bags. And Hoover makes changing bags easy, plus the bags are quite strong. Did you ever see those garbage bag commercials where they test bags by rolling them down a hill? Well, these bags are stronger.

A great dirt bag shouldn't be a reason to buy the Hoover Vacuum, which is a great vacuum by the way, but it should be one of the considerations you make.

Be careful!! I ordered this product because it said there was a package of 10 specifically in the description. When it came in the mail, it was a package of 3. Seller said it was a "listing error". To me that is false advertising. Did not offer to remedy the mistake, just said I got the value of my purchase. Bags will work, but not what was ordered. Buy from someone else!!

No complaints with this item! These are genuine Hoover Type A bags (they fit my 10-year-old Hoover Elite hard-case vacuum). Target charges $5.99 plus tax for 3 bags--this package of 10 is a great deal.

Hey, they're vacuum cleaner bags, what can one say? I needed to spend a bit more money to get free shipping on my order and this fit the bill, for a little over a buck apiece. These should last me for years!

Priced well for the amount of bags and the fact that they are genuine Hoover bags.

I'm amazed at some of the reviews that complain that this Type "A" bag is not a Type "Y" bag. :-\
Looks like somebody sent the wrong bags with a vacuum cleaner they ordered - not a problem with the bags.
This is a good generic bag, that fits vacuum cleaners that need a Type A bag. No bells and whistles, but really good and for a good price.

Mmmm... cheap Hoover bags. Small apartment + 2 cats equals frequent cat litter clean ups and vacuum bag changes. More and more often I am turning to Amazon for my household cleaning needs. These were much cheaper than going to Target. The only thing I would change is to make the bags sexier. Blah green? Soooo 1970s. Modern domestic gods demand style as well as function.

but for generic, its cheaper than walmart. if you are on a budget, this is a good bargain. if you are looking to have top quality, buy the real thing.

Looked locally for replacement bags for our Hoover upright vacuum cleaner and couldn't find. Shopped at Amazon and they had 'em. I had 'em in three days. Great deal, great delivery. Why go anywhere else?

I'm writing this review partly to counter the number of inappropriate remarks made towards the bags. The problem seems to be about a shipping goof made by Amazon rather than the bags performance. The comments all seem rather misdirected.

At any rate, these are OEM replacements that are meant for my Hoover upright and they fit properly and perform as well as I believe they should. It is also a bonus that I bought these from Amazon's "Warehouse Outlet" store. The cardboard box the bags come in was slightly crumpled so I got a considerable discount. Nice!
