Important Information

Directions

To replace agitator belt:

Remove cord from electrical outlet.
Turn cleaner over. Remove bottom plate by releasing clips.
Place screwdriver in groove agitator housing and lift out agitator. Remove old belt.
Place one end of the new belt over motor shaft. Slip other end around plastic pulley end of the agitator. Lettering on belt should be visible.
To replace agitator, use screwdriver as a lever to guide the agitator into position. Guide the side opposite the belt into position first. Press to secure.
Replace bottom plate in hinge like motion. Lift and snap retaining clips into place.

The original belt number that came with the hoover windtunnel commercial was far too tight to install safely. I suggest this belt for the agitator of this model, easier to install and works well. No horrendous tug of war with the vacuum. Agitator works fine with this belt.

It was easy to put on. I followed the advice of another guy on here who said to get a looser belt for my windtunnel hoover and he was right. Other than that? Beautiful black...rubbery. It gives me a lot to talk about at parties. Why am I single?
