These bags fit just right but the material is not as thick as that of the original bags that came with the Duros canister vacuum, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

I did not find it difficult at all to get the bag into the vacuum as another reviewer stated. The SR vacuum bags I received fit the vacuum just right and the cardboard gasket is exactly the same size as the original bags.

We needed some replacement bags for the new cannister Hoover we just bought. Ordered these and they arrived in a couple of days.....right product too! Just what we ordered.

I could not find these in stores. I was a little worried buying a generic, but they work great, seem to be great quality and the fit is perfect. I've actually seen people complain about other brands not fitting properly. These ones are great, and you can't beat the price.

So glad Amazon had these bags I could not find them anywhere else. They fit great and were pretty inexpensive and got here fast.

You can't beat the price on these vacuum bags. They ship fast, flat & fit perfect. We've never had a problem with them & will return to buy more when we run out.

These were not made by Hoover, they are generic and did not fit my Hoover Duros vaccum. I had to cut the cardboard to fit, quite cumbersome.

Bags work okay - just a little difficult to get into the vacuum. If you don't pay attention you may end up with a poor fit and performance. The cardboard doesn't quite slide into the vacuums bracket.

I bought these replacement vacuum bags to save money. We bought a Hoover Constellation vacuum that was on sale. It's a great vacuum, but the recommended replacement bags are somewhat expensive (around $10 for 3 bags). I noticed that the vacuum canister was semi-spherical, but the stock bag was rectangular. Since the inflated bag simply conformed to the interior shape of the canister, I hypothesized that many different bags should work. So I tried less expensive bags.

So far, I've used both 401010SR and 4010100S bags and they seem to work. They are about half the price of the recommended replacement bags. In order to get the orientation right (a 90 degree rotation) on these cheaper bags, I cut about a quarter-inch off one edge of the rectangular cardboard gasket with scissors. Perhaps, non-S and -SR bags, or even non-Hoover bags would also work.
