This is a great CD. It is an exhibition of pop-rock at its rhythmic best. Kristi, the vocals singer has a extraordinary voice just as good as Vanessa Carlton and better than Amy Lee of Evanescence. I can see bigger and better things for her like what happened to Delerium's Sarah McLachlan. I mainly got this CD for the second song on the album list 'Breakthrough' which has a great party feel to it and can be used for a dance mix. I gave this CD a twirl in my CD player and loved all the songs - all 11 songs are pure pleasing listening tracks. This is pop rock music with some heavier moments in the later tracks of this CD. I also enjoyed the lyrics of the song 'He's Reason Enough', a song of a woman's love for a man. Wow, I so love Kristi's voice.

Anyone a fan of Hillary Duff, Tori Amos and Vanessa Carlton will love this small group from the USA.

I bought Hope 7's single BREAKTHROUGH- loved it and rushed to get this-their first CD-the minute it came out. I am glad I did -its great! Kristi Mc Clave has got a great voice-maybe the best of all the young women rock singers!Her band -three guys is great too- Chase Duddy slams down a great beat on drums-Chevy Martinez plays great bass-and Dave Noble rocks out on guitar!

Some of the songs-have been released on soundtracks-like their hits BREAKTHROUGH and I WANT EVERYTHING but its good to have them on one CD ! I like the news songs too-fast ones like STUPID PEOPLE and ONE THING,as well as slower songs like FEELS SO GOOD and FALLING DOWN YOUR STARE (one of 2 songs Kristi co-wrote!).

My favorite song maybe the CD closer-WHO WE ARE-which has a very positive message for young people:""Live your life you better not be faking."

All the songs are good and it is clear that Hope 7 are not faking-they are the real thing- a great new pop- rock band!

PS-a note for parents-this is a positive CD for young people-no bad langauge or inappropriate messages.It would make a great gift

for a young person-especially a young girl!

I happened uppon this CD when I joined Yahoo Music. It was a recommended album. So I tried it. I was very surprised at how much I LOVE the music on this album!

The Best Songs are: Top of the World, Break Through, Fly, and Better Off. These are my favorites. Each song is catchy, and has a great beat to them.

All the songs on this album are good songs. I did not have to skip any songs. It's nice to be able to listen through a CD completely!

This is deffinately worth a try if you like any of the following artists: Hilary Duff, Jump 5, Play, Lindsay Lohan, Pussycat Dolls, and A-Teens.

Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Hope 7 is the BEST BAND EVER!!!!!! Their songs are energetic and they have great lyrics! Here's my overview of the songs:

Top of the World: Okay. You get kind of tired hearing "to the top, to the top, to the top" over and over along with "it's now, or never, it's now, or never". 5/10

Breakthrough: WOW!!!!! Clearly one of the best on the CD. I watched the music video endless times and finally decided "I want their album!" 10/10

Stupid People: The beat is cool, and so is the music behind it, but not very good lyrics. 6/10

Fly: This is a MARVELOUS song! I love it! It's just a great meaning and great lyrics!!! 9/10

One Thing: What a great song! It has a fast tempo and great music! 8/10

He's Enough Reason: Great song, great beat, great music. I think that about covers it! 9/10

Better Off: Good song, but there's an annoying little buzzing near the end. 6/10

Falling Down Your Stare: Good, but a little long, and a little slow for my taste. 6/10

I Want Everything: This song is what made me want to buy this CD!!! I heard "Breakthrough" and thought "cool!" But when I heard "I Want Everything", I was ecstatic! I knew they were going to be my favorite band!!! 10/10

Feels So Good: An okay song. They pretty much repeat "and it Feels so good, to finally be me." 6/10

Who we Are: Good, yet it can be annoying cause you remember it. And it's pretty much "We are more than who we are." Good meaning, but not for me. 6/10

Overall: 8/10. All the songs I didn't like, I really didn't like. But average that out with all the terrific songs, and we have a winner!!!

Ever since i got their single Breakthrough, i knew i had to get their cd. So when i saw it last weekend, i bought it right away. I wasn't dissapointed

1.Top Of The World-10/10: This is a really fun song. I really like in the 3rd verse when they use the sound effects. Basically, the meaning is "i will be on top, and never slide down". 2:30.

2.Breakthrough-10/10: Everyone who knows Hope 7 knows this song. It has been around since summer 2003. Its a fun upbeat song about reaching for your dreams no matter what. 2:43

3.Stupid People-10/10: Another great upbeat song, and the guys do a little singing too. 3:08

4.Fly-10/10: When i bought the Breakthrough single, this song was on it. It's a song with a great meaning. The meaning is "I'll fly and face the obstacles along the way" 3:07

5.One Thing-10/10: I think some people can relate to this song. It talks about when you go out with somebody and they use you only to get one thing. 3:03

6.He's Enough Reason-10/10: I can kind of relate to this song (If you flip it around and make the song a guy talking to his girlfriend) It has that happy feel to it, talking about wanting to spend every moment with the person you love, but you can't promise forever. One of my favorites off this cd. 3:29

7.Better Off-10/10: This song is fast but talks about how her life is better off this way ever since she dumped her ex. I like the part in the 3rd verse when she goes "I'm not the one whose broken" 2:45

8.Falling Down Your Stare-9/10: I don't find myself listening to this song as much as the others. But i like her voice in the verses. 4:03

9.I Want Everything-10/10: At first when i heard the clip, i thought "They just changed the words to Breakthrough," but when i listened to the whole song, it is a little different. I like the ending, when it goes acapella and then the music comes back on for about 2 seconds and then cuts back off. 2:55

10.Feels So Good-10/10: This is another slow song. It's the longest too. It talks about not being afraid to show the real you. "it feels so good to finally be me. I was an open book, never bothered to read." 4:27

11.Who We Are-10/10: A great message and great beat. It really sounds like an ending song. The message is we are all free and stars in our own way. One of the guys sings in the 3rd verse too. 2:57

Overall: 10/10

This cd is really good and i reccomend it to everyone.

I'm too old to like this group, but Breakthrough grabs your lobes and won't let go. Fun, surprisingly tough, and a lead singer you will hear of someday.

This is a very good album!

It was marketed to pre-teens but I'm a male in my mid-40s and have listened to it dozens of times.

Four songs are produced well enough truly to be top 40 hits... they SHOULD have been hits. I wonder what went wrong???

Those four songs are in my top 100 of favorite songs of all time (in company with Boston, Yes, Genesis, etc.)

For other songs are very well written and enjoyable to listen to; only three songs are slightly weak.

Very few albums are this consistently good from beginning to end.

Should have been a top seller in 2005 and my vote for the best pre-teen album of 2005.

Kristi McClave's voice and presence is refreshing compared to all the other "me too" teen albums.... ick.

Check out their videos then BUY this album!!! A "must own" for juvenile fun pop music, great to play on a sunny day in a convertible.

I first learned about the song "Breakthrough" by watching the Disney Channel. I saw the music video because "Breakthrough" was in the Disney Channel movie "The Cheetah Girls". I also saw the premier of "The Cheetah Girls". I hated the movie, but I really liked the song "Breakthrough". I kept searching for an album from hope 7, and I finally found the perfect album. I recommend this album to anybody who likes music.

A nice energetic power pop ablum, however, has anyone noticed that the rhythm guitar section in the song "He's Enough Reason" is a rip-off of Boston's classic "More Than a Feeling"...?
