Hope Begins in the Dark is just what the title suggests. When first faced with a lymphoma diagnosis, the patient is in the dark and only learns more about the particular cancer from health professionals, reading about the topic, and learning from others who have been through it. Reading the stories helps tremendously because 50 survivors tell their experiences and give hope to the reader in a way that is not burdensome - there is hope!

highly recommended for anyone who is going through this or close with someone who is. it truly does provide "hope" by hearing stories of real people afflicted with this illness. Survivors include those with HL and NHL, which I made sure of before giving it to my brother who has NHL.
