Hope Disc brake adaptors are silver and laser etched with fit information.

• Adds 20mm Rotor Diameter to your 51mm IS Caliper
• For example a 160mm native caliper will require 180mm rotor
• Will not work with 20mm thru Axle Marzocchi Forks
• Adds 20mm of disc rotor diameter to dedicated IS calipers for use on post mount forks or frames (i.e a 160mm caliper would require the use of a 180mm rotor)

Purchased adapter for use on a Mongoose Impasse 29er with Rockshox Dart3 29er fork.
Fit and finish is average. Aluminum is fairly soft with visible machine marks and no anodizing, paint or powder coat. Does come with two black Allen head cap screws and washers.

Mongoose, Trek, Diamondback, and others come equipped with Promax disk brakes.
Adapter does not fit OEM Promax caliper and modifying caliper and/or adapter to fit would remove WAY too much metal from either to be safe.
Bought Avid BB-5 brakes for use on post mount fork. A little more money, much less hassle.
