I loved the control engine for Web of Shadows but the storyline was a little strange and the voice actor for Spider-Man was pathetic. If they can improve the storyline and get a better voice actor, I'm sold. Looking forward to more information on this game as it becomes available.

Did you play Shattered Dimensions? Basically this is a sequel to that game but with only the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099.
Beenox worked on Shattered Dimensions, while I believe Treyarch worked on Web of Shadows.
Gameplay on both felt different and I own both, so I'm not talking out of my ass.
Play Shattered Dimensions to get a feel for how Edge of Time would be/feel.

The whole "Shattered dimensions" storyline didn't appeal to me so I never played it. May be worth a rental, but no way I would buy it and have it end up being something I didn't enjoy.

SPOILER

Eh, my only real beefs with Web of Shadows was the exclusion of Carnage and Venom being a villain for most of the game and then dying just as he becomes an anti-hero again.

When a SPIDER-MAN game takes place in ONE building. I don't call that an improvement.

Yeah Web of Shadows is still the reigning champion in my opinion. Swinging from building to building, makes you feel like spiderman. This new stuff is too confined.

i loved the aerial combos in web of shadows. and in shattered dimensions, noire was my favorite. the past several spiderman games have had a shining quality to them, but for some reason they also had a huge factor that just made them sub par. web of shadows had bad graphics and a terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible voice actor for spiderman. and shattered dimensions, while diversifying the look of each spiderman, all but noire played the same. maybe limiting it to two spidermans will put it where it belongs. near the top.
