Hope this makes it out for Titanfall.

Right now I'm seeing March 6th as the release date but we haven't gotten anything official quite yet as far as I know. I got into the beta this past weekend and I have to say the game is really quite good from just the slice I've gotten to try. I can only imagine how awesome the game will sound with this headset.

Glad you liked Titanfall. It wasn't my cup of tea and I think I will be passing on it. The sound was great though through the Melee headset and that was stereo only. I wouldn't hold your breath on the 6th as it has been a moving target, but I do believe Microsoft wants it out prior to Titanfall, just like the controller updates through the Massive Xbox one update coming.

I just couldn't get into the game. Too much going on and just crazy action everywhere. I never really felt like I was winning or losing. Granted it was Beta, but I just couldn't find a groove I liked.

I guess it kind of caters to my preferred style of run and gun kill and move onto the next enemy. I'm the kind of player who hates sitting still and with a game like this there is always action to be found somewhere.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it but maybe you'll like it better when the full game is released. We only got a very small piece of the pie with this beta.

I agree that they really seem to want to push out the headset in time for the game. They know it is going to be a big deal but the party system update is going definitely going to be ready for the game.

The melee headset is the same as the 4 shot but for the 360 correct? If so I'm glad that they sound awesome and it's definitely going to be epic playing games with these.

same headset to a T, the cables are separate and for the 360 but you get the Microsoft adapter for free so they become 4 shots.

I also like Run and gun but I play HC Search and Rescue in Ghosts. I like playing and knowing teammates are down and you have to keep on going to try and win the round. I just never felt that kind of gameplay on Titanfall. Even the titan vs Titan mode, was keep in a group with your team and try and take on one titan. If you take on 2 by yourself, you lose nearly every time. You couldn't out play or outmaneuver most of the time so it was more just button mash and instead of strategy. That is what I didn't like.

I can remember a game of Search and Rescue where my whole team left. It was me on 5 for the last round (against a clan that didn't play much search but was in it for the clan xp) I was able to outmaneuver them, kill 3, plant the bomb and kill the last 2. That was exciting and fun, and my heart was racing. In Titanfall, I couldn't take on the 5 titans with my one. There is no surprise attack. There is no skill in figuring out how to move through the map with your titan to garner the kills and take out a whole team. Your titan just can't stand up to the beating from multiple titans. It feels like more luck than skill if you kill more than one in a round.

So I guess that makes me a run and gun strategy player. :)
