Hopes and Dreams is a revealing look inside the world of a small, minor league baseball team. While the team itself is near the bottom of the baseball ladder their aspirations are not. We see the players( and their families) wrench their hearts and souls in the service of "the great American pastime". This is a moving portrait which will speak to anyone who's heart ever skipped a beat when they heard the umpire yell out the words "play ball!".
