In addition to the original tracklisting, this DELUXE EDITION showcases previously un-released and rare material including early demo "Into The Light," recordings from the band's earliest Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley radio sessions, the timeless b-side and fans favourite, "Snowed Under" (from "Somewhere Only We Know"), and their debut self released singles. The sleeve notes have been penned by long-time supporter Steve Lamacq where he describes the first time he caught them at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town, "there were only three of them but they sounded huge. They were independent of mind but definitely accessible".

This was a seminal ablum for the band and glad it is getting the deluxe treatment! They found some really great live versions to include. I love re-discovering these albums I listened to so much.

So "Hopes And Fears" is already one of the best pop albums to come out of the UK, possibly ever. And they've added to the beauty and brilliance with this deluxe version. The extra tracks are remarkable and even in their earliest days you can hear how they were bound for greatness. The live tracks sound fantastic as well. This will be on repeat for many days to come!!

This album has a lovely array of different versions of the old favorites including a beautiful and raw version of 'She says she has no time'. It also has some of the earliest Keane songs which many of us have never heard, from when Dominic was still with the group. A rare lead vocal from Tim and some hauntingly sad songs pull you in deeper with every listen.
