Hopkins nVision Tire Pressure Monitoring System Signal Repeater is designed to help with the transmission of tire pressure sensors to the on-dash monitor. This Signal Repeater is perfect for a vehicle that is greater than 38 feet in length. It provides proper tire pressure which is important for many reasons. Under-inflated tires will increase wear of the tire, reduce control of the vehicle, accentuate hydroplaning, reduce road traction, reduce brake performance, increase fuel consumption and add to overheating of tires. Over-inflated tires reduce tire to road contact area, increase wear of the tire, reduce traction and vehicle control.

We own a motorhome and pull a car, and the motorhome could pull the car with all tires flat and never know the difference. Knowing if a tire is low is important. When I bought the initial Tire Pressure Monitor system, it didn't say much about needing this device, but reviewers indicated it might be important. I received it with no instructions about where and how to mount it. I called the factory and did receive fairly good instructions. I installed it and the rest of the system before our last trip, and in about 5,000 miles of travel it worked perfectly. The only times we got an alarm were times when we had disconnected the car and moved it away from the motorhome. Great system, just need better instructions included with the equipment.

I had previously installed a Hopkins NVision Tire Pressure Monitoring system on my 40' RV but was having intermitent problems with lose of signal. After installing the System Signal Repeater the performance of the system improve greatly. Faster startup and recognition of all tire pressures and on travel I have yet to lose a signal.

Great product and shipping and price from Amazon were outstanding.

After experiencing a number of blow-outs on my RV and being surprised by a low tire that almost rolled my towed Jeep, I looked for a solution I could afford. I had no wish to go through the cost and time of mounting internal monitors, which greatly narrowed the field.

I settled on the Hopkins system and after more than 5,000 miles with them, I can say that they save me time & effort with accurate readings. If I hear or feel something strange, I need only look at the monitor to see if the tires have a problem. They give me peace of mind to drive long hours on the road without worry.

This is a "must buy" for anyone who spends long hours on the road. Between ensuring proper inflation to improve gas mileage and preventing costly repairs after a blowout, they have saved me far more money than they cost.
