Easy to install.

You have to adjust it manually based on the trailer load but once dialed in it works great.
Marvin
I was able to manually engage these breaks and come to a smooth and controlled stop.

It works great for my trailer witch has 4 elec. brakes on it. The only annoying thing is that the green light is always on even with key out of ignition.

Its a simple break controller with a wheel style adjustment. You have to adjust it manually based on the trailer load but once dialed in it works great. Get a harness kit that matches your vehicle makes installation about a 20 minute exercise. I use it with a tandem axle 7000GVW trailer and haul a 3400 pound tractor with about 1500 pounds of implements (max load). It has breaks on both axles and it does exactly what it is supposed to, helps me stop that monster that is pushing my truck down the road.

Very inexpensive and easy to install... Worked right out of the box with a slight adjustment. I guess time will tell how the product will wear and tear over time. We are not avid RVer's, so for our occational use the is okay.

installed this cheaper version on my 92 f250 and all works great with manual adjustments ...but when using the 4 way flashers it bleeds back thru the controller and makes the brakes come on and off lol just would have been nice to know before i lost my running lights and had to use the flashers...

I bought it and it works. Installation was not obvious and instructions are not great if you've never wired one before. I imagine a higher end model would probably brake more smoothly. This one is jerky and the wheel control makes it hard to set at the right amount. However, it was inexpensive and does the job.

This brake controller works as it should. It slowly increases the current to the brakes so there isn't a harsh grab as your stop.

Not the greatest brake box i'm sure but for the price it works just fine. Easy to install. Adjust from loaded trailer to empty easily.
