Spill saver gas can spout

Tried this spout after having nothing but trouble and spills with the totaly stupid ones that come with the new "non-spill" gas cans. For some reason I decided to order two. Glad I did. I could not get the first one to not leak between the adaptor and the spout. The 2nd one seems to work fine. Overall it seems to do the job but we'll see how it holds up to repeated removals when filling the gas can at the pump.

OK, but a little too weak

I purchased two of these and while they are OK and do a good job replacing the stupid spouts that come on new gas cans these days, I snapped one off at the base -- the plastic isn't quite strong enough for normal use. If you're careful, they might last awhile.

I sure do miss the flexible spouts that came with gas cans many years ago!

Decent but didn't fit my BLITZ Cans

Well...It's not a bad quality product and you do get three different size adapters...However I bought these to replace the leaking spouts on my BLITZ cans (As BLITZ only now sell those horrible leak proof ones)...Unfortunately the provided adapters were not a good fit...I got one
to work but it leaks as much (or more) than the ones I was replacing...

Won't ship to Califonia

I tried to order one of these, but they won't ship to California. I guess I'm stuck with these "environmental" spouts that we have here. Unfortunately, the ones available in California spill gas more that the old style.

gaskets

Where can one get replacement gaskets? If you tighten it too much the gaskets crush and then leak!

Replacement gas-can spout

I have used this item before and have been very satisfied. It fits almost every brand of gas can and the turnspout is easy to operate. I would buy another one in an instant!
