From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K--Hopper is a tiny white hare with one blue-tipped ear. He is tired of winter, ice and snow, cold feet, and nothing but bark to eat, but his mother lovingly reassures him that the joys of spring will return. This quiet picture book has very little in the way of plot, but features a wealth of large, misty watercolors in lucious pastel shades that are as soft and cuddly as a child's favorite blanket. Hopper conveys the same all-encompassing sense of security and warmth as does that classic of the nursery by Margaret W. Brown, The Runaway Bunny (HarperCollins, 1972), and will be appreciated by the same audience. --Joan McGrath, Education Centre Library, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
