Nothing Better,

This review is from: Hoppe's No. 9 Powder Solvent, 1 Quart Bottle (Sports)
I been using Hoppe's since the fifties and I owned many handguns and rifles/shotguns.
There are many cleaning products out there and I'm sure most are good cleaners. Hoppe's has been cleaning the grim, carbon from these guns without failure for years. Ya, I like the smell.. but I really like the great job this old cleaner does on my guns. You can't go wrong with Hoppe's. buy it.

Classic product.,
The classics never die!. My family has been using Hoppe's since the 1960's. It works and works well. And while it may sound odd, I even like the smell. It reminds me of spending time with my Dad in my younger days.

What can be said about Hoppes #9. It's been used by gunowners for years and years. I grew up on the smell of this, and if I could get away with it, I'd use it as after shave too. Cleans bores, and parts as good as any out there, as far as powder, and it's residue. You might want another accessory type for copper residue. I've used it since a kid, and still go for it, as I suspect 99% of gunowners do, or at least have some or had some. Until something proves itself vastly superior, I'll be loyal to Hoppes #9
