I know the other two reviewers enjoy this treadmill, but here is my experience with it...

I bought this treadmill new from Amazon in August and it was non-functional when it was delivered. Horizon scheduled someone (from eight hours away) to come fix it. We had an appointment but he never showed up. His wife called a couple hours later and said he was running late. He never came, and no one ever called back. They also would not return my calls. So back to Horizon.

This time it was another two weeks, but someone showed up and made the repair. The treadmill worked for the 4 times we used it after that, then stopped working again. It's now mid-December and it still hasn't been fixed. Horizon doesn't know why it keeps cutting off, and who knows how long it will take for them to get someone to fix it.

I wish I had just bought this from a local sporting goods store so that I could have returned it the next day. I cannot ship it back to Amazon, as it weighs a ton and there is no box (the delivery people took it away).

I felt reassured when I purchased the treadmill because it had a one year parts and labor warranty. Now I'm feeling like it could take that long just to get the thing going. Very disappointed in the product and service. That was eight hundred dollars totally wasted.

I would definitely not recommend this treadmill, nor would I recommend buying from Amazon as it is so difficult if not impossible to return if there are problems.

Just my opinion.

I have been using this treadmill for about 3 months now. No problems at all and it gets plenty of use between my wife and I. I set a 7" dvd player on the console and watch movies while walking. We have a gym membership but by the time I drive there, change clothes and if we include the drive home, I am practically done with my home workout. I also like to excercize late at night when the gym is closed. I recommend this product.

treadmill only took 15 minutes to get out of the box and ready to use. which means my first hurdle was overcome. next, it's quiet as can be. i can hear my tv perfectly, my husband can watch tv in the next room without turning the volume all the way up and the best part, the baby is able to sleep right through my workouts. the comfort is amazing, lots of cushion to absorb the shock. thank you horizon!

Ordered Horizon treadmill CT61 from Amazon, received in broken box with broken plastic pieces from all sides. I cannot figure out what belongs were as its in pieces. When called Amazon Customer service, they told me to buy a new box and pack it up for pick-up which will be scheduled in 5-7 business days. Customer representative was very rude and just mean. Be aware to spend more time hustling with Amazon folks rather spending on treadmill.
