Is this YOU?

Do you have vague symptoms like fatigue, dry skin, or constipation?
Do your symptoms come and go, especially around the time of your period?
Do standard medical tests say that you're " normal"?
Are you bothered by anxiety, irritability, or depression but don't know why?
Are you taking an antidepressant like Prozac but still don't feel right?
Does stress make your problem worse?
Do you have trouble losing weight or keeping it off no matter how hard you try to diet?

Maybe your hormones are out of balance.

In The Hormone Connection, you'll uncover the hormone imbalances that affect many women but even doctors often overlook.

How many of these symptoms sound like you?

* Food cravings
* Joint aches and pain
* Wheezing
* Leaky bladder
* Sleep problems
* Aggressive outbursts
* Nervous tension
* Forgetfulness
* Easy distractibility
* Upper lip hair
* Lukewarm sex drive
* Knee pain
* Tearfulness
* Unexplainable fatigue

Each symptom could be linked to hormones in some way.

The Hormone Connection goes beyond estrogen and menopause to tell women what they need to know about all the hormones that affect them during their thirties, forties, and fifties: progesterone, thyroid hormones, metabolic hormones, even stress hormones.

Featuring a three-phase plan to restore and maintain healthy hormone levels

2.0 out of 5 stars Focus is on medical treatments, August 21, 2003
By
This is the first review i've written and I just wanted to let people know that this in essence is a good book....but only if your looking for drugs/medications as a priority to dealing with your hormonal problems. I ordered this book along with another book called "hormonal balance" and there's no comparing between the two. The other book talks indepth about exactly what your hormones do...and how they control your body. This book gives a short explanation followed by prescriptions that your doctor might advise...it has alternative treatments...but they are not very detailed...and focus more on "get more sleep....exercise....etc". All in all it's not a bad book...but there are definetly better one's out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book has become my female Bible!, May 23, 2003
After living through what felt like an insane period of my life I find that I am not really insane at all but dealing with changes of getting older and closer to perimenopause that maybe I would admit.

This book helped me see the ways to help myself adjust and live through it without going insane. I have a few more years to put the whole book into theory but the weight issues are there and fading thanks to this book.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is in their 30's and is a woman. It will make all the difference in the world!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book is easy to nagivate and has a wealth of information that doctors forget to tell us. My daughter in Germany recommended it. After my purchase I purchased one for my daughter in CA (I knew she'd never return mine, once she saw it!) It's a keeper!
