Review

"From vampire space robots with sneakers for antennae to a froglike woodland beastie with a striped shirt and slime trail, this is low-tech, high-appeal fun." --Publisher's Weekly, STARRED, July 2012.

I had a book like this when I was little so once I realized what this book was, it was mine! Had to have it. Kids love it and there are so many possible combos. Love the big words so my little guy can try to sound out the words. Just a well done little book. Purchased at my kids scholastic book fair and happy to say I grabbed the last one!

My one year old got this for Christmas. It has so many pages to turn back and forth and he is quite the page turner. I can imagine he will enjoy this more when he understands the mix and match pictures as something he can manipulate.

My grand daughter loves this book. I keep it in the car for when we take a drive. She wants to bring it with her when we reach our destination, but we keep it in the car so it is a special treat to play with it. She doesn't get tired of looking at it, there are so many possibilities!
