More About the Author

Francesca Simon spent her childhood on the beach in California, and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her family. She has written over 45 books and won the Children's Book of the Year in 2008 at the Galaxy British Book Awards for "Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman".

I started reading the Horrid Henry series to my kids when we lived in England, and I am so pleased that it is available in the US and on Amazon. My two boys love this book and I have actually had tears running down my face and had to stop reading because of laughing so hard. My oldest son is re-reading all the books in this series on his own now and he still loves them. They are set in England, so the language is more British, but not so much as to be difficult to read or follow. Happy reading!

I purchased this book so that my 7-year old son would have something to read on my Kindle that was appropriate for him. He loved reading this book, and we read many parts together, which was fun together time. A nice break from some of the other trade books at this age level. May be more appropriate for 2nd grade reading levels.
