This is the Exploited's classic album. It is irreplaceable for the punk fan. There's no one like Wattie.

Fun Record- Exploited Rips It Up!,

My friend paid $20 for a dinged up version of Horror Epics, and fortunately for me, I found a mint copy in a miscellaneous record bin, for $10. This, and I haven't heard the bonus tracks, is definitely the best Exploited album I've ever heard. This almost leans to speed metal but at it's heart this is a punk record with some amazingly fitting guitar solos. They really add some bite to these songs. There is sort of an oddball track here, "Dangerous Visions," as it has the female backing vocals of Dee, similarly to "Sexual Favours" by Exploited. It's also my favorite song on the record. Well, it's a toss-up between that and "Don't Forget the Chaos." This record seriously rips. Just listen to the samples of the first five tracks, and you'll get the idea. This was the last great record by the Exploited, and any thing after 1986 just makes Wattie more and more of an idiot, but forget about those dreadful post-'86 records, and GET Horror Epics if you haven't got it!

MIND GRINDER !!!!!!!,

This is an awfully underrated album !!In my opinion,it's one of the best, second only to ¨Beat The Bastards¨.This somewhat experimental record mixes dark and industrial influences with anindescriptibly fast paced, pounding and percussive harcore sound.Drums sound like a machine gun, souped up with sampled loops from a rythm machine, sounding like there were 3 drummers playing at the same time !! Guitar work is savagely furious, razor edged,a constant aural assault, full of wild solos, mixed in very loud.Bass is fast, hard and precise.Wattie's delivery OK as usual. The sound here is well ahead its time.Don't expect any resemblance to the 2 first albums. If you want to listen to something very original, open your mind and wallet.

In 1988, on Oct. 30, was the day I first heard this album. It is now forever linked to not only great punk rock for me, but forever linked to my teen-age halloween memories. Nearly 20 years after I first heard it, and 20 years since its release, 'Horror Epics' still remains one of the great 80's punk albums and the only political/ghoul punk album I can think of. It's a great way to start your Exploited collection and a must for a curent collection.

You know what sucks most about the 80s. Its all the twats who thought digital drums were the coolest thing ever. You have all this music forever signifying the 80s all because of digital drums, but never in my life did I think I would hear a punk band using them. Then I found this little number from The Exploited. Dont get me wrong, they are an amazing band, but this album belongs in the trash...

the exploited still stayed true to their roots after many of the other bands that were associated with them (discharge, english dogs) went way too metal and weak. These guys kept the hardcore punk sound all the way. This cd is really good but some of the songs go on for too long.

This is not a really good exploited album. I only gave it three stars because of "Don't Forget The Chaos" ,"I Hate You" , and "Maggie" which were the only three descent songs on it. All the other songs were extremely long , and painfully boring. And whats with the album cover ? Did the Exploited go from neo nazis , to the Misfits ?
