4.0 out of 5 stars Classic dungeon and wilderness adventure, April 29, 2000
This review is from: Horror on the Hill (Dungeons & Dragons Module B5) (Paperback)
One of the harder modules to find in the B series, this one is a true classic. The vast, mist-enshrouded hill is infamous for providing foolish adventurers with wealth and an early demise; a bustling trade steading has sprung up across the river to beckon the unwary. But no one has ever learned why the mysterious hilltop itself has always remained undiscovered! This adventure is huge - there is a wilderness expedition, a 100-room dungeon, and a final climactic encounter no 1st level PC will ever forget (let's just say Bilbo had it easy)... highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Horror on the Hill: A forgotten classic?, April 6, 2007

This module was from the early days of D&D. It has a small village, which could be a good base of operations. Across the river, a ruined monastery beckons. Inside there are skeletons, goblins, kobolds and a dragon. I've used parts of this adventure so many times and it was always a great time. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Suitable as your third or fourth adventure, May 24, 2002
This review is from: Horror on the Hill (Dungeons & Dragons Module B5) (Paperback)
An adventure combine dungeon and wilderness. It is rather difficult to play for very beginning adventurers. (let's say, a group with only Level 1-2 characters) The story is good, interesting, but not great. It may be your first time to meet DRAGON! (though it is small and not so strong.)
