HORRORVISION DVD,
By Charles Zudker (Orlando, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Horrorvision (Special Edition) (DVD)
This DVD is loaded with extras! 3 art galleries (including one by splatter photographer Ward Boult), audio commentary, cast audition tapes, a 33 minute behind the scenes, the director Danny Draven's early short films, trailers, DVD-ROM features including screenplay and production stills, and tons more! The movie also stars scream queen Brinke Stevens who dies like you've never seen her die before. Although the movie is low budget, it delivers the goods. It's definitely different from regular Full Moon fare.

Cool little film with tons of extras and a good story. I wish Full Moon did more cyber movies like this.

During a drunken trip to Scarborough a friend of mine bought Horror Vision in a pound shop after we had read the film synopsis on the back of the DVD, knowing full well that it would be low-budget but hoping it would be so bad that it was good. Sadly this wasn't the case. It was quite frankly a damn waste of 72 minutes of my life which I will never get back. The best part of the film was when it ended. I am no longer friends with the person who bought it as I can never forgive him for subjecting me to the epic waste of time that is Horror Vision. I am now receiving counselling due to the fact that I tried to kill myself 15 times during the film through boredom. The afore-mentioned former friend is paying my counselling bills as the court ruled that this was the least that he could do. I know someone who is dead. To sum up I really enjoyed the film. It wasn't Horror Vision though. I suggest you set fire the Horror Vision disk and throw it at someone you hate or to a lesser extent, even someone you quite like. Either way it will be a far more enjoyable experience.
Spoiler- Nothing interesting happens.
