Punk Rock's Lowest Common Denominator,

The Anti-Nowhere League are everything that your parents feared about punk rock: loud, obnoxious, crude, boorish and a hell of a lot of fun. The Horse Is Dead is a live collection of hardcore punk as only the League can deliver. Featuring several of their big U.K. hits, including "So What," a legendary tune brought to American audiences by Metallica but seized and censored in the band's British homeland. Other high points of the disc include the League's trademark musical rant "I Hate People," the self-referential "Wreck Of Nowhere" and "League" and possibly the wildest, most raucous rendering of the Beatles' "Nowhere Man" that you're likely to hear. If hairy, leather-clad, knuckle-dragging hardcore punk is your cup o' grog, look no further than The Horse Is Dead.
