5.0 out of 5 stars ..?, March 18, 2003
This review is from: Horse of the Dog (Audio CD)
This is probably the best album i've bought this year, which is saying a lot, conidering that so far this year, i've bought albums by the Clash, At the Drive-In, Zwan, Iced Earth, Hell is for Heroes and AFI.

TEMB-LD have distorted psychobilly vocals shouted over chaotic punk guitars and bass-lines, and the entire album is pretty chaotic and creative. Every track is absolutely fantastic, except for maybe 'presidential wave'. If you like bands like The Birthday Party and Amen, check these guys out. The only problem i had with this album was that its only 26 minutes long, but hey, that just gives me a good excuse to listen to it twice.

5.0 out of 5 stars INSANE GOODNESS, May 20, 2003

Well, one night I was up studying real late with MTV on at the same time, and all of the sudden Psychosis Safari started playing. At first I was think, "man this is [bad]...who are these guys anyway?" well, it only took the span of the song (2 and a half minutes) to make a fan out of me. it was so interesting and different that i was compelled to buy it (and i got it earlier than most people since i live in singapore and get the british release dates). now, i could have given this 4 stars because of its shortness, but hey they manage to pack in a good album in just half an hour. every song is different and unique, all of them worth being singles. they all seem to be exactly the right length as well. as for what type of music this is...well, its hard to classify. just listen to it and decide if you like it yourself or not. as for the best song on the album, its hard to pick...i'd have to say psychosis safari since i am somewhat partial to that since that's the song that got me to buy this cd. i can't wait for their next cd to come out!

If you've found this album then you know what you were looking for, and probably already know most of the songs on the CD. If not, here you go...

This is my favorite album by a band that should have been a lot more popular, and should have lasted a lot longer. Pound for pound this album has more great songs than their other efforts. Not to say their other efforts aren't amazing, because they are. This just holds more attention for me.

I listen to this when I ride and it's the perfect soundtrack for a day at the skatepark or cruising around town. Just buy it already.
