Educational doesn't have to mean boring! Along with sharing Bill Dorrance's horse wisdom, as well as her own, Leslie Desmond offers up interesting, and sometimes amusing, insights into the horseman that was Bill Dorrance. Horse handling and riding topics are organized in alphabetical order which makes it easy to find a particular subject that you may want to review. Or, like me, you may find yourself listening to the set from beginning to end several times over. With each listening, I find that I hear something "new" that I missed in prior listenings. This set of CDs has traveled many a mile with me and will travel many more because I'm confident that I'll never get to the bottom of the barrel of all that Leslie has to offer! The return is definitely worth the investment!

These are a great compliment to Leslie's book. She answers so many questions here that come up from reading the book. I think these would even be a great intro to the book. They are perfect to listen to in the car driving back and forth to work and the barn. You will listen to these over and over again and find something helpful in them each time, whether it's horsemanship education or inspiration you are looking for. Leslie is a wonderful compassionate teacher. Don't miss her. These cds are worth every penny.

Horse Handling & Riding Through Feel is such a wonderful set to own, and listen to over and over. Every subject is food for thought for the serious horseman.
I never tire of listening to the thoughts Leslie has put to audio. In fact, it takes many listenings to truly get a grip on the depth and personaL importance of these ideas. If you own these tapes, you can re-visit the ideas as needed, as your own horsemanship becomes finer. Furthermore. for those of us who may regret the time spent away from riding, and handling our equines, these tapes can be enjoyed and absorbed while we endure our daily commute, and be helping our equine while driving to and from work. I recommend this set highly!

This is one collection that will be with me forever. It would be difficult to count how many times I've listened to them and each time I do, I still hear something new! There are so many thought-provoking concepts contained in this set, time seems to stand still as I get caught up in the deep, DEEP meaning within each topic. There is no shortcut to true horsemanship through feel, but there is a wonderful resource to help guide you on your journey... I highly recommend this set!
