Okay, I've been reading this series ever since I was in elementary school. I'm nineteen now, by the way. Anyway, as the series progressed I kept noticing continuity errors. But this book takes the freaking cake. Seriously. Where the HECK does Melanie fit in? Look, I like the girl. Really, I do. But no matter how I wrack my brains I cannot imagine any chance for her to exist. If Mike had a sister, why wasn't she at his and Ashleigh's wedding? Heck, most future sister-in-laws are made bridesmaids. The series NEVER mentioned Mike having a sister. EVER.Oh, and I hate Christina. And Dylan. Just saying. What's up with Mona, too? AFAIK she and Ashleigh never saw each other again after she moved, and how they're best friends? Does every adult in this darn series have to be connected? Sadly, guys, it just gets worse from here. I eventually gave up on the series because of the continuity errors.

i had a real problem with this book. First I hate Chistina so that might be part of it. But in the book she trades a stallion that's worth in the millions $$$$ and get sterling a broken down nag that can jump. She did't trade and million $$ colt either. it was her mom's mare wonder who christina saved from a foal.and it was going to be her last foal, but after she traded legacy she bred wonder again she had a colt and wonder died. star was sent to townsend acers and he was being mistreated.and all because of christina's supid behavior. If you DO NOT like bad books don't get this 1!(absolute worst in the seires)

I think it is a great book, I love anything to do with the Whitebrook Farm. What I didn't like was that it just stopped with Cindy and Honor, I love the books but they go from racing to show jumping. But other that that I give it five stars!

I thought this book was really good. Well except for the time-warp into the future! In the last book (cindy's honor) wasnt christina like 3? Now she is 12? and in case you are wondering where all the other characters are read book #65 (bridal dreams) for a treat! ok now back to the book. Christina was dissapointed when her parents gave her her first horse. It's wonder's last colt: Wonder's legacy. Chris doesnt want to be a jockey but her parents just dont understand. When they take a trip to belmont to watch a race and see chris's cousin and uncle, she finds a beautiful dappled-gray thoroughbred. She soon discovers, to her dismay, that Sterling Dream, is being abused by her groom. She does everything she can to save the horse but when the horse is put into a claiming race someone else claims her! Christina takes a serious chance (at the time it was a dumb one too) and TRADES LEGACY FOR STERLING!!! HELLO! I cant belive ashleigh agreed to that one! you dont hear about legacy ever again until much later in the series when christina starts to doubt her decsion to trade legacy for sterling. You also find out that legacy never made it as a racer and was kept in a tad bit more poorer condition than whitebrook would have kept. Anywhoo...this was a good book and a change from one extreme sport to another. Very good!

If you do eventing\jumping and have always dreamed about THAT PERFECT HORSE, this is the book for you, as well as all the other Christina books out there! I love jumping, so I picked this book up right away! I'm holding it as I write! It is so exciting and actually sometimes gripping. It all starts when Christina finds Sterling Dream, a racing dapple gray mare, who refuses to race. Then Christina finds her true talent--jumping! But not before the cruel groom abuses the poor mare. I won't give away the ending, but I'll say it is very shocking and surprising in a good way!

This book is SO good! I couldn't put it down! I liked itbecause it explains how Christina got Sterling. I loved because itteaches to do what you believe is right. I'm glad that Christina gotwhat she always had wanted, a dapple gray mare for eventing! I think Christina was the right person for Sterling because she treated her right and she could see Sterling's real talent, eventing. Well, I really liked this book and if you like horses and like to read, read A Horse Of Her Dreams!
