Overall a good book, with plenty information, and detail.
I would recomend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about hoof care.

Very well organized. So far love all of Cherry Hill's books. Can't go wrong, always something good to learn!

Very good book for any horse owner. I would love to have to hear from any one who can tell me more about some of the books like this out there that go into a little more detail on the products they recommend for the hooves.I wish that it went into more detail on the products. But overall very good.

This book is very well written, easy to understand, good pictures, etc. I would definitely recommend it to all new horse owners. This is a must read!

All elements of horse hoof care are covered, from anatomy and daily care to the role of the farrier, maintaining dry facilities for horses, and treating horses. Knowing when to call the vet and how to handle more minor hoof issues at home adds to the details on hoof-handling training and makes this a pick for any rural library.

When I realized that my farrier wasn't doing the best job possible, it became obvious that I needed to know more about hoof care and what a good trim was. This book was a big help in doing that. And I got a new farrier who is doing a much better job for my horse and her long term soundness.
