5.0 out of 5 stars rockin good cd, April 17, 2003

i had the privelidge of catching squatweiler at irving plaza in nyc. what a great band. this three piece is definetely a live band. fun, upbeat and high energy which translates on their cd's. the music is on the heavy side but still retains enough foot stompin beats to keep you rocking along and the melodies will stick in your head for awhile too. another band where i love the roar of the guitars. lyrics are good too. check 'em out for yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock on!!, November 5, 2000

This album totally rocks out with dancability and fun!! As their fourth album, Squatweiler just keeps getting better and better. The energy behind this band is simply unstoppable. The opening song, John Henry, gets you out of your seat and jamming out in your living room, or car, or whatever. It's just impossible to sit still...

John Henry! Jack Ball! Another great album from Squatweiler. If you like having fun, rocking hard, and actually listen to the lyrics, then try this one on and turn it up. It's no wonder Rollins Band invited them on tour. Their LIVE SHOW is always good fun. Don't miss the show, and definately don't pass up Horsepower.

Horsepower definitely rocks. It's truly a fun CD. The guitar is squeaky, but there is plenty of roar to counter it. This three piece band has a place in my collection for sure, and it gets played. I expect to hear more about this band in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars squatweiler rocks!, August 20, 1999

squatweiler is one of my favorite up-&-coming bands & horsepower does not dissapoint! gorgeous power pop vocals, crunchy chunky guitar, tripped-out on-the-road lyrics.... usually bands that have a lot of energy live don't translate so well on recordings, but not squatweiler! excellent soundtrack to yer life... i am the crossing guard!
