This book is adorable. The elephant is actually a little puppet! You can wiggle his ears and twirl his trunk as well as move his mouth. It doesn't all rhyme like I was hoping, but it's still a pretty cute book. Kinda corny, but when you're reading to your baby it doesn't really matter. :)

not much to read in this book but my 1 yr old nephew loves it so far. the interactive hand puppet is a great feature and i find it much more effective for kids who really aren't old enough to read yet. i loved it so much i bought it for my other newborn nephew.

This book is cute, my baby loves the Horton puppet, but it is very difficult to operate. The book is very short with just a few words on each page and doesn't have the catchy rhythm expected from Dr. Seuss. We read it to our 5 month old a few times, but it has already been placed on the shelf because it is so dull. I'd recommend Wet Pet Dry Pet (touch and feel) over this book.

My son is 3 months old and we have a lot of fun reading this book together! It keeps him engaged the whole time I am reading. He loves to see the trunk moving along with the words I am reading to him.

This is a cute little book. Horton is a puppet, you can flap the ears, move the mouth, and twirl the trunk. It doesn't have many words, which is perfect for reading it to toddler over and over. I gave this to my nephew and him and his cousin fought over it for a while. It's a pretty fun little book.

This is a great first Dr. Seuss book. Very cute sturdy card board book and finger puppet included is attached to book and let's you act it out while reading along.

"A person's a person no matter how small!" Very, very disappointed that this line which is repeated several times in the complete version isn't included or even hinted at in this version. It is so suprising not only because it is the best part--but because it is clearly the the moral of the story. The design is a bit cumbersome, too with the ears having the be tugged through from the front to close the book.

Great little book for infants. In good Dr. Seuss style, it has short phrases that rhyme and fun and colorful illustrations. The hand-puppet Horton is cute but is a bit difficult to maneuver as you are trying to read the book (the opening is barely large enough). But the baby loves it!

This is such a cute book and we are big fan of Dr. Seuss. My daughter loves playing with this book and when you put your hand in the puppet there's no telling how much fun you can have.

Sweet little book. I'm sure the baby will loving touching & having it read to him.
