Good screw-on connectors, the terminals are protected by a heavy shrink-wrap covering.

I've dealt with my share of low quality cables and this cable was so inexpensive I was hesitant to purchase it for that reason alone. I am pleased to say that it is a solid piece of equipment. No buzz whatsoever and it appears and feels to be of very sturdy construction. Only time will tell if the cable will magically flake out at some point but for the moment I am glad I purchased it and may buy more in the future. My recommendation is to purchase this cable, if it holds up to usual wear and tear it is as good as any cable 3 - 4x it's price.

I bought this, figuring if it was crap I was only out a few dollars. The cables at my local music store are ridiculously over priced so i was willing to take a chance on this one. And boy was I impressed. Not only is there no buzzing or humming(a common problem with cheaper cables in my experience) but it is a fixable cable. Most cheaper cables come with solid plastic around the soldering point, making it inaccessible. This one comes with metal ones, that unscrew, so even if it goes out, I can fix it.

It really turned out to be a good buy, so go ahead and get one, you won't be disappointed.

For the price, fantastic.

They do feel light and I don't trust the build quality at the key stress points (where cable meets connector), but then again I am not going to push it.

Set your guitar down on it by accident when it's plugged in and...who knows.

But for seven bucks it gets the job done. Recommended if you are doing the "beginner" thing and testing the waters.

Otherwise, spend a few more bucks for something with higher chances of lasting.

Cheap and good texture rubber that does not get stiff. Only time will tell how well the soldering is. Sounds fine to me.

I have been around the music and sound business for several years and have had the opportunity to use many different brands of cables. This is a very high quality cable, especially for the price. It has repairable ends and is made of the same "soft" flexible wire material as cables three times the cost. I have been using mine for gigs and practices for a couple months now and it is holding up very well so far, i am probably going to purchase several more in the near future.

I've had an account on Amazon for over ten years, and I never felt compelled to write a review for any product until now. This is a poor quality product that isn't well constructed. First of all, as soon as I plugged it in it I had some weird hissing feedback from my amp that I've never experienced before with other cords. Then, as I gently removed it from my guitar, the end bent and broke the copper wire connection. There is almost nothing insulating/covering/protecting the copper wire (only a very thin film, about the density of tape), so you can imagine how fragile this is. Typically, I find cheaper cords (USB, HDMI, etc.) to be just as sufficient as ones that are priced at market value, but this is not the case with this cord. This is a rare instance where I recommend spending the extra $10 or so that you get a cord that lasts. A cord should never break on its first use.

I'm giving the product two stars, since I seem to be the exception here. Maybe I got a cord from a bad batch or something. Either way, you should be aware of this problem. I'm very disappointed.

I've been using these for about 3 weeks now - they are strong but flexible and don't seem to develop kinks or bending "habits" if you roll them up the proper way.

I've seen and used some better cables but not at this price point. And I've certainly seen quite a few worse! This is a pretty good sweet spot, in my opinion.
