If you own DMX lighting, you need to have a terminator connected to the last light in the chain, and this one is the most inexpensive one I have found. You can't go wrong.

This is a pretty basic little device, and it does exactly what it is supposed to. Quality seems decent, and it works perfectly. Enough said. :)

it does what it needs to, other than that it is a little bulky, sticking little to far out but it works.

Well, it's a DMX terminator. It works fine. Since my setup is simple so far (only a single dimmer pack), a terminator is probably not necessary. Planning to add more fixtures in the future, I grabbed this as "cheap insurance" against erratic behavior due to an unterminated signal. The last thing I would want is an expensive set of lighting equipment malfunctioning because I was too cheap to get this little piece of hardware.

It's a DMX terminator. These are important at the ends of DMX chains. I had 4 lights strung together, and they didn't work reliably. Threw this on the end and the gremlins vanished.

There isn't much you can say about this. I don't know if you always need these or not. I have a multi-rig LED system and it seems to work fine without the terminator, but it also works with the terminator. Better safe than sorry, right?

If you think you dont need this...think again, even with only two light boards,

I say this because I was one of them, I took a chance (why not its the cheap peice of the chain) and to my eyes, it took the 3 mil. latency I had from sound to light out and is more dynamic than ever. WOW WHO KNEW! Next time I will trust what I read not what people say, esp. sales people.

Bought this for an organization and am glad I did. I was told they used the lights without this device and noticed some negative differences compared to when they used it. Fairly inexpensive way to ensure optimum performance.

I've attached this terminator to a DMX cabling run of over 100 feet with 7 different lights/fixtures on it. Didn't experience any issues, so it seems to be doing its job (although I never tried to run the lights without it, so I don't know for sure if it actually "solved" any problems). The terminator itself seems to be well made, plus it looks kinda cool. So yeah, thumbs up.
