Not quite what I wanted, but cheap,

We use these macrodrip admin sets to administer subcutaneous fluids to our cat. (200ml of LRS every other day) While this is a great price for an item that is difficult to locate (our local pharmacy stopped carrying them entirely, even by special order), the 100" length is crazy-long. Also, the tubing used in the set is the stiff clear plastic type, which unfortunately is vulnerable to kinking.All that said, the 10dr/ml size makes for quick infusions, and the spike seems to be a good size for our Hospira 1000ml LRS bags. If only this merchant also sold 19g 1" TW Terumo needles, I'd be all set! |
