I first bought these little babies after my wife started cultivating some wild bulgarian mushrooms in milk/yoghurt and drinking the stuff. That's far too nasty to me. But she was going on and on about how good mushrooms were for health. So I started reading some research, mostly from Japan, and I have to say it seemed fairly solid. There were numerous scientific studies that seemed to show elevated NK cells, etc. (I'm a bit of a skeptic, and I like to see these studies). So far so good for mushrooms. But, I'm lazy and fickle, and the idea of drinking soured-milk-mushroom-yoghurt just grosses me out.

Being lazy, I found these capsules that you can just swallow in a jiff, and bought a few bottles to give it a go. That was about a year ago, and I've had only ONE small cold since (lasted 1 day). I have no real hard evidence if my immune system is any better off or not due to them (or some other factor), but I have a "gut" feeling these lil' guys are kicking in. I dig them.

Then my mom got diagnosed with some very aggressive and nasty breast cancer. She had to go through surgery, chemo, radiation, the whole 9 yards. I bought her these bad-boy mushrooms to take since the medical treatments began, and despite the aggressive dosages of her traditinal medication, her white blood cell count has remained surprisingly strong! (FYI - she did first ask her doctors if they felt it was okay to take them. They said 'yes,' and that they had heard of some positive studies in Japan). Again - I can't prove it, but I reckon these little mushrooms helped her through a bit! :)

This product was recommended to me by a friend. I am a very active and seemingly healthy individual who unfortunately gets sinus infections associated with mold and environmental allergies. Although I receive allergy injections about once a month I was still prone to sinus infections. After using one of these capsules daily I have not had a sinus infection in months. That is especially impressive given it is generally the fall and winter seasons I have the most trouble. I think this is an excellent product to consider if you feel immunocompromised or pick up infections associated with allergies. The company is using sound science methods to develop their products and should be consider legitimate. Best of health!

My Grandma and I always seem to catch every cold there is. A couple years ago my Grandma some how heard about this pill and started taking it. She has not had a cold since. She use to get about 5 or more colds a year. She also use to always get sick after the holidays. All she does now is double up when she feels drained, overwhelmed, goes out in public a lot, or has a lot stress going on and one a day on regular occassions. I ordered this after she had such good results. I did not catch anything through 6 months with everyone at work being sick. I slacked off and forgot to take them and after over a month, I started getting sick yesterday. I doubled up on the pills. I have been sick for 2 days now and actually feel pretty good. In the past, I use to get sick horribly bad for weeks. Day 2 and I feel like I am getting over it. What an amazing little pill!

There are many products out there that claim to strengthen immunity and who really knows? However, I've taken this product for almost two years and I have resisted all the other common ailments (save one cold in 2 years) that others around me catch including my co-workers, friends, and family. This is not a replacement (nor does it claim to be) for sensible lifestyle choices (balanced diet, exercise, sufficient sleep, washing your hands frequently, annual doctor examinations) especially during the cold and flu season, but I believe it has worked for me.

I have been using this product for the last 4 years along with astragalus suppliments and I have not even had a sniffle and I usually get sick at least 2-3 times a winter. I have read that both together worked synergisticly to enhance your immune system and fight viral and bacterial infections. Keep in mind though that without exercise and a proper diet (no processed or junk food, sugar etc.) it can only do so much but it will help.
