About the Author
Paul Karr is an award-winning writer whose contributions have appeared in Sports Illustrated, the San Francisco Examiner-Chronicle, Sierra, E Magazine, Sanctuary, and other publications. He has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad and has been twice selected artist-in-residence by the National Parks Service. He is the author of seven other books in Globe Pequot's Hostels series. Karr is a resident of Athens, Georgia.
