decent but not Bill's best writing
on July 12, 2012
I am not quite done this book but it is good, although definitely needs editing to flow better. most of the time I was wondering what that part of the chapter had to do with hosting the presence, and it was more focused on OT stories and things he's quoted in sermons over the last few years. Since we always have the Spirit, the OT stories needed a bit more pointing out of why he uses them. I'm not so sure about the theology laid out in the first two chapters as I have never heard that interpretation of Genesis before, but it seemed a bit sketchy. Also don't know what that has to do with us hosting the presence of God in the last days.
I may edit this review when I'm done but this is my review so far!
PS Dreaming with God is probably the best of his books, I have read that at least 3 times. I have read almost all of his books and I'm not picking this one out to critique but it does lack some focus.
