Finally, Neil Diamond in Concert !! NO interuption, just the way it way in New York. I sat in the front row and he was GREAT !!!! This DVD catches what it like to see Neil in person. He moves you makes you smile and even cry. This was my 35th concert and he never lets me down. This DVD is just worth every penny, I feel this worth $30.00 all day long !! A must have

I saw this same concert in Jacksonville last November and watching this DVD was like seeing it all over again. I have seen Neil Diamond in concert many times and no one puts on a show like him. He is entertaining and his music is still excellent. From what I have seen and know about Neil Diamond, he is such a professional-gives over 100% in whatever he does-in the studio and in concert. This DVD is a prime example of this. Watching this is like having the best seat in the house-on stage with the band. The sound AND video is incredible. Turn your lights off and you will feel like you are live at the concert. I will admit my surround sound system made it even better. 2 1/2 hours of pure Neil-you can't go wrong.

The extra CD is just a bonus of Neil's personal favorites-nice to have but if you are a fan, you already have every song he has done on previous albums. The concert on DVD alone is worth the price. I even bought a second set for a Christmas gift.

The featurette on his return back to his home in Brooklyn was a great insight in Neil as a person. Nice bonus video.

Great concert - great artist - Neil sounds as great as ever - love this DVD.

I truly recommend this DVD, it is great to have a meeting with friends and remember all Neil's hit during his amazing career. Neil is in good shape and makes a remarkable night at MSG. This DVD is a must.

Although I have been listening to Neil Diamond since probably the late 60's or very early 70's, I have never had the opportunity to see him in concert. This gave me the next best thing. WOW!

You either get Neil Diamond or you don't. I'm 56 years old and he can still make me dance like a teenager, (well, almost, lol) sing, laugh, and cry. I did all that with this performance and I've watched it several times. I originally found it on YouTube and loved it so much I bought the set and it was worth every penny. I also feel that a 4-day sold-out concert at Madison Square Gardens (around 20,000 seats) with 100% attendance says a whole lot about him. Some may feel he's too old, that he can't sing like he used to or whatever. Doesn't matter, he's a singer and song-writer that touches you in places no one else can, from my perception.

Somehow, he makes you feel like he is singing to you, personally. He has a way of presenting his music that totally connects with his audience and brings them into his life. When he sings, he sings from his heart and you can feel it. What amazed me was the audience. I saw people of all ages, many of whom who weren't even born when he first began to sing. There were those who appeared to be more "punk", with black dyed hair or wigs and they were dancing and singing and obviously loving the music. Neil Diamond has such universal appeal that it still amazes me and has for years. Even my mother loved him!

Get it! It's well worth the money and you will feel like he is in your home and singing to you! I will never get tired of this DVD or Neil Diamond.

Indeed, it was a Hot August night and this collection makes it feel as tho' you were a part of it. The price was as FANTASTIC as the show. If you are a fan of Diamond...buy it.

I've been a fan of Neil Diamond, for too many years. I look back at his first L.P. records, that I have and see this young guy on the covers, and I can't believe that the Neil Diamond of today still sounds as good as he did way back then. I bought this DVD, which included an extra 10 CD with it, and I've listened again, and again. I think I have every CD, Album, and cassette that Neil ever recorded, including a record album, just for D.J.s. It was a skripted, interview on record, just like he was sitting there talking to the interviewer...Now about this DVD, I enjoyed going back to Neil's home town of Brooklyn, N.Y. and laughing when he would ask some of the guys that live in his old neighborhood today, if they knew who he was....most didn't.....the look on their faces..the whole DVD is worth just watching his old neighborhood and listening to Beautiful Noise and thinking how it must have been listening to the city from an apt. and putting words and music to it...If one has the means to listen and watch this DVD on a great sounding surround system, then it's even better..I've seen Neil twice in Birmingham, AL. and this DVD takes me back to then sitting on the 7th row, dead center..not believing I'm there. The only thing I missed was a big cloud of smoke coming out of the floor and seeing him arise from the floor with his white, sparkley, shiny costume on bigger than life..like a music god...singing AMERICA.....I love this DVD.

If you like Neil Diamond's music, then buy this CD. It is one of his best live performances, maybe the best. You will not be disappointed.

It takes you to the neighborhood where he grew up. He went to see where he lived and the people let him see the apartment. He talked with a bunch of boys on bicycles on his music. They haven't heard of his songs but it was fine with him. Different generation. Different kind of music. Great concert.

I've been a Neil Diamond fan for years, and watching this concert DVD was a pleasure to my senses, I especially liked the "welcome home" preamble to the dvd, it was fun watching Neil walk through the old neighborhood, then the build up to the performance that evening, if you are a Neil Diamond fan, I believe you will find this worth it, some of his performances seemed a bit lackluster, he seemed to be "going through the motions" at some points of the show, but on other songs he really belted them out with energy & was really into pleasing the audience.
