5.0 out of 5 stars Hot August Nights
Christine Flynn's second romance novel about The Kendricks of Camelot, opens with a bang that sets the tone for the balance of this very entertaining book. The story is full of surprises and heart warming scenes that make this a great book to explore while sinking into a comfy chair. I highly recommend this book for readers who love well written and exciting love stories.

2.0 out of 5 stars On the Boring Side
I just finished Hot August Nights and wasn't that thrilled. I did think the writing and characters were good. They had depth and were likable. However, the situation and their romance in particular lacked spark or something. I found it to be on the boring side.

1.0 out of 5 stars Snooze, August 14, 2004
This review is from: Hot August Nights: The Kendricks of Camelot (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1618) (Mass Market Paperback)
If you should happen to get passed the Housekeeper's Daughter and hoping things pick up in Hot August Nights (like I did) your sadly mistaken.
There's nothing really hot about the story. The beautiful rich and catered woman ends up working building a house with her brother's best friend whom she had an affair with. You would think there would be some excitement. Except there's none. Not even the hurricane heading for the construction site pulls enough excitment.
Like Housekeeper's Daughter both charactors are really likeable and the storyline is really good but instead it just dry as a dust.
