Quick and Effective!,
By "shansen111" (Santa Barbara, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hot Bod Fusion: The Ultimate Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet Workout for Sculpting Your Best Body (Paperback)
I'm so happy I can do this workout in only 30 minutes and still hit all my problem areas. I really feel it in my abs the next day! And the ballet is definitely giving my rear a nice lift. I've been doing pilates for over 4 years and it's nice that this book includes advanced options and 2 chapters that use the pilates circle. It makes things challenging and interesting for me. I'm newer to yoga and ballet but finding these routines easy to follow because of all the pictures. Many of the exercises show modifications, as well, which has helped me ease into them. It really is the quickest and most effective workout I've tried!

Newly Flexible Runner,

I come from a runner background and have been looking for a workout to improve my flexibility. I saw Hot Bod Fusion and bought it since it includes pretty much every discipline known for flexibility. What's great about this book is that each chapter only takes me about 10 minutes--cool. Exercises also include `tips' from the author that help keep me on track and focused. I've done the routine 8 times now. Do I feel more flexible? Yes, definitely-and my `core' is stronger to boot!

Great exercises!,

This review is from: Hot Bod Fusion: The Ultimate Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet Workout for Sculpting Your Best Body (Paperback)
This book has pulled together the best Pilates, ballet, and yoga exercises and put them all in one place. It is nice because you can mix and match what you want, using your body weight and nothing more. They do use one piece of equipment- a pilates ring. You will want a standard yoga or pilates mat for the exercises and you are good to go.
The pictures show you what you should be doing and everything is easy to follow. I really like how this book is set up. Do what exercises you feel like doing that day, and some cardio-- and you have a great weight loss/ toning program that you can do at home.

I noticed a flatter stomach after two weeks of the exercises. Everything is detailed and easy to follow. I would highly recommend this book. Also, the male model is very easy on the eyes. Ha!

This review is from: Hot Bod Fusion: The Ultimate Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet Workout for Sculpting Your Best Body (Paperback)
This looks like a great book. I just got it, and I can't wait to get started on the four-week sequence of exercises. What a unique idea to combine yoga, pilates, and ballet into one workout. This is going to be fun. Looking through it, there are lots of step-by-step photos that will make it easy to use.
