Cool but Not in Style,

This review is from: Hot Bodies, Cool Styles: New Techniques in Self Adornment (Paperback)
What I like about this book is its emphasis on individuality. It shows many pictures of creative artistic young adults (they all look over 18 years old). It takes you to a secret world most modern mainstream professionals are unaware of. Great for a body art paper based on recent trends.Hint..hint

This was a wonderful delight to receive. It's about real people, not models, that have taken piercing and tatooing to a whole new level. I love this book because the real people in this book tattoo and pierce themselves according to their life choices and not following the crowd, so to speak.
Every page has a different story of why they do what they do and the pictures in this book are gorgeous. They show close up pictures of the tattoos and piercings so you can see exactly the detail of the work. So, this book is worth the money spent and is a great coffee table book. You can't put it down and when you do, you want to go back again and again. |
