I am a big fan of -original- Christmas music. So much of what we hear for at least 5 weeks every year (1/10 of the year!) is just the same 'ol same 'ol. What many of us look for is that rare Christmas music that is very listenable, creative, and different in its stylings and approach. This is it. One of my very favorite Christmas albums of all time; a rare treasure. I wouldn't be surprised if the album took a little adjustment period before I loved it, but I've liked it so well and for so long that I don't remember. I recommend it highly, though!

I would love this project. The first time I heard Hot Christmas, I laughed until I almost cried and I still love it (since I live in Florida!) I've always liked creative and different. This project has it in spades. Love the arrangement of Little Drummer Boy and Angels We Have Heard on High. Christmas Kind of World gives me that all over glow that I associate with the Spirit of God moving at Christmas time as only He can. Now, even my kids can hardly wait for Christmas time to come so we can pull this out and listen to it.
I wouldn't say it was Eric's best project, but it's definitely refreshingly different. In the vast sea of same old Christmas fare, this one absolutely stands out.

After an unbelievable search for this CD I finally found it on Ebay. Only after I actually called Victory Christian Center in Daytona where Eric's Dad pastors after I exhausted all other avenues and even they couldn't help me.

Anyway, I got a copy which I believe is now out of print. The only song worth listening to is "Christmas Kind of World". Otherwise, forget it! The other songs are unlistenable. Okay maybe It Came Upon a Midnight Clear is okay but that's it!

Eric, if you ever log on and read what people say on Amazon about your music, know this-we really enjoy your music., I have been a fan of yours since 1991!! So much so that my friends thought I was a little Eric Champion freak cause I would play only your music at one point. Fans would love to see some fresh material but don't sell out! Do what you do best! Don't try and be edgy or go out of your realm of music. Stick to the Eric Champion style that we enjoyed on Forever Love, Revolution Time, Save the World and Vertical Reality.
