I purchased this gel product to replace one that burst when I overheated. The original gel pack that came with my carrier/casserole was much larger. It heated without placing in bowl of water to heat in microwave. This is too much trouble, plus because of it's smaller size, it doesn't keep the food hot long enough.

I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

I was very disappointed in this product. The description did not say the size of the product and I needed it to keep a 13 x 9 dish warm. The price is way too high also.

Great Product. A little thinner and smaller than my original Nexcare ice pack, but overall a good, quality product. Shipping was great!

The edges heat up a lot faster than the middle part of the pack, which caused a burn through the bag & middle was still not heated. and yes I even out the liquid so it was even before placing it in the microwave :(
heats a lot better if if boil in pot of water.

I received my gel packs today. They are only 5" wide and 6 1/3" long, not the 5.5" x 8.5" described by the seller,so these are going back and I am contacting Amazon to report this deception.

This was much smaller than I thought, I guess I didn't read how big it was. Also the very first time I microwaved the pack the seal came undone and the gel leaked out. Would not reccommend it to anyone.

I bought this item as my other gel pack was torn. I used the item as a hot pack but by the third time i heated the pack in the microwave the plastic was eroded and the gel started coming out. Cheap quality.

This product was recommended by Amazon to accompany an insulated casserole carrier. Please note that the item is very small for a basic rectangular casserole dish.

I thought this item was to keep food hot in insulated food carriers. It turns out it is intended to be used for aches and pains.
