A professional research scientist takes a vacation that turns deadly, but the danger brings her an unexpected reward -- the man of her dreams. But her lifemate has a secret, a paranormal surprise that brings its own challenge. This story pulled me from the start, making me turn pages eager to see what would happen. The love scenes are hot, the romance compelling and the action exciting. A bright jewel of a story.

This book is so well titled, hot love scenes and plenty of danger make this a very fast and exciting read. Jenna, a research scientist taking a break, and Zack are instantly attracted to each other when they meet on vacation. But Zack has a secret he doesn't want to tell, and he's reached a turning point in his life that he's been avoiding. Once he's committed there is no turning back. When terrorists attack the resort Zack protects Jenna and the heat between them flares. Excellent romantic suspense with a paranormal twist!

5.0 out of 5 stars Action AND hot action! October 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The idyllic beach scene erupts in gunfire. Whoa! Not what you'd expect and a nice way to open "Hot and Dangerous" by Rebecca York. Jenna and Zack race through the jungle, tracked by more men with guns and keeping an eye on the full moon. If you want to know more, you'll need to read it yourself! "Hot and Dangerous" is a fun read with some hot stuff thrown in too.

I was dissappointed that this story ended so soon. It's more of a Novella than a true book. But what I got was pretty darn good.
