Amazing album, I love her sound, June 19, 2003
This review is from: Hot [Dutch Re-release CD] (Audio CD)
This album is so different than any other solo Spice stuff out there. I love the beats & the rythym, this album is amazing. My favorites are "Feels So Good", "Tell Me", "Lullaby", "Hotter", "Step Inside", & "I Want You Back". I love the whole album though. It's ashamed she was dropped, but don't let that stop you from buying... "Hotter" should have been released instead of Lullaby. Oh well, check this out. It is definetly HOT!!!!

MELANIE B. SOLO DEBUT IS "HOT", December 18, 2003
This review is from: Hot [Dutch Re-release CD] (Audio CD)
Wow! I never thought this CD was going to be any good but it is. Melanie B. has really good producers on this CD like Missy, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley and Rodney Jerkins. I'm sorry I didn't buy it sooner. I wish this CD was released in the U.S. because I think it would've blown up. It was only released overseas though. Melanie B. is the bomb. I wish we could see more of her.

Incredibly HOT, September 20, 2003
This review is from: Hot [Dutch Re-release CD] (Audio CD)
If I knew that this album is this good, I'd had bought it earlier. Maybe I would have if I've known that she worked with Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Missy Elliott, Fred Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels and Teddy Riley (each of them is a big name enough to make me buy a CD). I just can't pick which song is the best, 'cause they're equally good, maybe except for Feel Me Now, which tries to be sexy, but it's boring (although if you want to fell asleep, I can recommend it), I guess they gave it to her after Janet Jackson rejected it, but the rest of the album is very good. I especially like "Tell Me" with its cool rhythm and cool lyrics, and "I Believe" with its uncredited sampling of the Supremes' "Someday We'll Be Together" (say it, say it, say it again). It's a good album and makes me wanna more, so I guess I'll start looking for the singles while I'm waiting for Melanie's second solo album.
