I saw King Johnson live in Asheville, NC and was completely bowled over by them. They give a great show and you have to love that they have a guy who plays both the tuba and the washboard. I was skeptical that their energy would translate but Hot Fish Laundry Mat is a terrific album. It's been on replay for over a year on my ipod. Just listen to the snippet of One Fine Day and tell me it doesn't make you happy!
